Think “early ’90s Nike midtops with in black and red with an ankle cutout” and you’re likely to conjure images of the Air Jordan VII and/or Huarache series. But before any of those all-time greats got out the gate, the Nike Air Trainer Max 91 was in the weight room and out on the track.
