We’ve seen it done before – a footwear brand using a classic sneaker silhouette as a base and slapping on slightly altered logos and panels and in turn calling it their own. In comes Pivot by diffeducation and the MJ 1.5 Boot, which features a familiar Air Jordan 1 upper gone swooshless and slapped with a boot-like midsole and traction. Three classic AJ1 colorways of the MJ 1.5 Boot have been produced; black/red, white/red, and black/royal are arguably the most recognized Air Jordan 1 colorways, and so Pivot transported them onto the MJ 1.5 Boot as well. Definitely something to stir debate, so check out the detailed shots of all three colorways of the MJ 1.5 Boot after the jump and give us your thoughts – and head to mita sneakers to pick up a pair.
