Is there a reason why Gilbert Arenas is keeping everyone on the edge of their seats? Where are the Penny Foamposites? Is Gilbert a secret Sneaker News reader and teasing us with his sneaker selections? On Thursday night against the New York Knicks, Gilbert Arenas wore one of the most popular signature shoes of 90’s. No, it wasn’t the Penny Foams or an Air Jordan, but instead one from Fila, representing Grant Hill, one of the most talented players ever to grace an NBA uniform. Some of you many not remember Grant Hill’s tenure with the Orlando Magic, because he was sidelined with injury for most of his time down in Florida, never being able to fulfill the Hill-McGrady potential. Hill’s healthier than ever, and still going strong at age 38, but enough about Hill; if Gilbert didn’t solidify himself as an OG sneakerhead with this selection, there’s not much more out there that can further solidify that. Check out Gilbert and a Fila Grant Hill after the jump and let us know where this ranks among Gilbert’s sneaker selections of this season. via ESPN.
