In Beijing, Santa arrived with a little something extra for the Nike LeBron V.2 ‘Christmas’. While the U.S. release of the Christmas-inspired LeBron 8 V.2 shoe came in a regular slide-out box, the happy (and go-lucky) customers in Beijing received a special black wooden box with a special Christmas-themed etching on the outer facad with the shoes stored in a black suede bag with a golden LeBron Lion logo. Also included was a special booklet called ‘Christmas Day Battle in Beijing 2010’, alluding to Miami’s bout with the Los Angeles Lakers on Christmas Day. These special wooden boxes are usually reserved for special edition releases – and it seems like the Christmas V.2 just made that cut.
