The Air Jordan XI was featured in Sneaker News’ Michael Jordan Through The Years in three separate volumes (it’s that awesome of a shoe). If you caught part one, which detailed Michael’s first appearance with the Air Jordan XI, you would’ve remembered that the ‘Concord’ colorway was one of the first XIs he ever rocked (the distinction of first ever goes to the Space Jams). Before Michael switched back to ’23’ for the rest of the second-round Playoff series against the Orlando Magic, Mike rocked the four-five, which is featured on the heels of this rare Air Jordan XI Concord sample. Even recently, hip-hop artist Drake showed off a sweet 2011 Retro version of the Concord which featured the same ’45’ distinction. Michael’s brief moment wearing that jersey number is just one of the many unique sub-stories in his history, and you now have a chance at owning a piece of history. This rare ’45’ Concord sample just popped up for sale so check out the detailed images below and check out the auction from bailiwyck on eBay.
