Kanye West’s Nike Air Yeezy 2 From Coachella

Here’s a second look at the Nike Air Yeezy 2 worn by Kanye West during his memorable performance at Coachella 2011. The construction of the shoe reveals an Air Tech Challenge II midsole with an upper similar to the original Nike Air Yeezy. The tonal black upper appears to be a molded or premium leather featuring a unique texture similar to crocskin, a molded heel (perhaps Foamposite?), a forefoot strap, Yeezy’s logo on the tongue, and a mint green outsole similar to the pigment used in the original Air Yeezy.
