“Can you tell me how you got from the inspiration of the Air Flow to the Lunar Flow?”

Bruce Kilgore is a legend in the sneaker game for his design of the original Nike Air Force 1.  He also crafted the Air Jordan II and wanted to find out from Nike Sportswear designer Nate Vanhook how his somewhat lesser known Air Flow design had inspired Vanhook’s newest creation, the Nike Lunar Flow.  In a video you can see in its entirety after the jump, Nate narrates a history of Nike’s sock-style runners, from the Air Sock that inspired the OG Air Flows to the Huarache, Presto and Free lines it inspired.  All of those cues combined with Nike’s cutting edge technology make the Lunar Flow a can’t miss for serious runners and comfort-minded sneakerheads alike, so click through to watch their conversation and stick with Sneaker News for updates on the Lunar Flow release date.
