When the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk debuted in 2008, Kobe Bryant was chosen as the flagship representative and saw a pack of limited releases inspired by his life. So aside from the various Lakers colorways, four were produced in honor of the Black Mamba’s 81-point game, his high school alma mater, the country where he spent much of his youth and his favorite soccer team. The last of those has been resurrected and appears again to provide a theme to the latest Nike Zoom Kobe VI. The FC Barcelona ZK6 is well timed with Barca set to face Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League final at the end of the month. It’s a rematch of the 2009 final but the Barcelona Zoom Kobe VI is about as different from the Hyperdunk as possible, opting for a bright red upper with the squad’s credt on the inner tongue.
