A store opening is a noteworthy occasion. When it’s one of the most recognizable names in the NYC footwear culture, it’s a momentous occasion. When all of the hottest releases from the entire year were going to be up for sale, it’s a mob scene! Moe’s Sneaker Spot re-opened its doors in Astoria, Queens on Saturday morning to an eager crowd of sneakerheads waiting to check out the latest sneaker spot in New York City and for an second-chance opportunity to cop some of the best sneaker releases of the year, like the Air Jordan VII ‘Year of the Rabbit’, Air Foamposite One ‘Royal’, and other neck-breaking gems. The sneakerheads came out in droves, rocking their best kicks, as we spotted some South Beach LeBron 8s, CNCPTS x SB Dunk Low ‘Lobster’, the not-yet-releases Bright Mango LeBron 8 V/2 Low, Playstation x Air Force 1, and plenty more. Check out the quick recap of the Grand Re-Opening event and be sure to check out Moe’s Sneaker Spot if you’re in the area! via FRESHNESS.
