In 2009, the Air Jordan VI was selected as the Air Jordan model for the Doernbecher Freestyle Collection, and what followed that late 2009 release was a slew of Air Jordan VI releases from January to June. Then in 2010, the Air Jordan III was selected for the Doernbecher Freestyle VII, and was released in late December – a release that preceded a number of Air Jordan III drops in 2011. Keep in mind that these sneakers are designed by children with creative imaginations, going by their own instincts and now what’s ‘expected’ of an Air Jordan shoe. What hasn’t been confirmed is who the lucky young designer is, but what we can expect is the Air Jordan IV Doernbecher to release this Holiday 2011 season.
