When you talk about early ’90s running shoes, the bold and energetic colorways stand out as much as the silhouettes themselves. Nike in particular is known to have proffered a wide variety of vibrant colorways (many of which are wildly popular to this day), but this new Nike Air Pegasus ’92 is still among the most unique we’ve seen, in that era or any other. They’re 75% white, but there’s some explosive action in that last quarter, where a black heel counter gives new life to orange and maroon accents, resulting in one of the more curious novel combinations we’ve seen in recent memory.
