Despite missing what would have been his rookie season with a devastating knee injury, Blake Griffin returned in 2010-11 to submit one of the best freshman seasons the NBA has seen in recent memory. Blake rocked the rim no matter who was in his way, be it the massive Mosgov or the more moderately priced sized Kia, and it was the latter of those that made him a household name during February’s 2011 NBA All-Star. Griffin made his famous slam in a pair of Air Max Fly By PEs featuring the same red, black and neon design accented by a variety of ‘Blake-quake’ detailing that appears on the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 he wore during the All-Star Game. There’s one key difference between the game-issued pair and this new edition, though, with Griffin’s ‘BG32’ insignia having replaced the pulse graphic formerly inside the lateral heel counter window. Does that suggest that we could see this model make it to retail, perhaps as a House of Hoops exclusive? No word yet, but you can see more of this model after the jump and be sure to let us know if you’d buy them were Blake Griffin’s Zoom Hyperdunk 2011s to release in the coming months. Thanks r3tro
