Much has changed in LeBron James life since Sneaker News showed you the initial images of the Nike LeBron 8 about a year ago. He’s gone from arguably the world’s most popular basketball superstar to something like a WWE heel, a character we simultaneously revile and replay ad nauseum. LeBron got closer than ever before to his first NBA championship this year, and with the Miami Heat’s nucleus in tact, there’s a pretty strong chance he’ll finally grip the chip while wearing the new Nike LeBron 9. These joints are still being held under wraps with only the tease-iest angles being shared at this point, but it’s clear this black and red LeBron IX features its fair share of carbon fiber, in addition to what appears to be Nike Hyperfuse material on the rear.
