While heads from the Washington DC area like to lay claim to being the first region to really rep the various Foamposite sneakers, the rest of the world has caught up in the past few years due to Nike’s increased focus on this futuristic material. With that being said the latest in the line, the Nike Zoom Rookie shown here in Binary Blue/Black, is posit-ively gorgeous. The aforementioned Binary Blue is a few shades off from the go-to colors for Penny models, landing somewhere between Varsity Royal and Eggplant. And while this is a hybrid model, the successes of previous models in the Air Penny line are remain: carbon fiber plating, icy soles, half-cent logo.
