In the United States, the skateboarding and skate sneakers, apparel and accessory sales are largely handled by one huge nationwide mail order catalog-turned-mall retailer and a network of independent mom and pop shops; could the US market support another emerging chain of skateshops? We’re not necessarily expecting Swiss chain Doodah to expand into the States to make a run at CCS’s crown, but it’s clear they’re doing well with nine retail locations and a new Off the Wall collaboration. The Doodah x Vans Chukka Low goes with a relatively rare blocking pattern that sees the vamp done in camel suede save its piping and the eyestay/ankle collar, which comes in for a lighter brown tone. They’ve got the store’s name on the tongue and after you check out more images below you can get them straight from Doodah.
