The most recent collaborative release issued by German sneaker boutique Solebox was a trio of Saucony Shadow 5000s dubbed the ‘Three Brothers Pack’ for their use of similar colors across different blocking patterns. Hikmet and company have been doing stuff like this for years, the exuberant accent shade on this latest duo conjuring images of the ‘Purple Devil’ trio they released with New Balance over five years ago. The Solebox x Saucony Shadow 5000 ‘Pink Devil’ adds a bit of pink to the otherwise ‘standard’ black/grey/white mix for a slightly more eye-catching take on ‘evil’ than the typical bred fare. And with Halloween right around the corner, it’d make sense to get these out before October’s over; will they release in Solebox’ typically frustratingly limited numbers?
