Like Eli, Nike just ‘did it’. Welcome back the Nike Air Speed Turf Max, possibly one of the greatest releases in the 90’s Nike Football era. It comes equipped with everything we loved about mid-90’s Nike Trainers – Max Air on the heel, a sleek midfoot strap, and a super-aggressive midsole design; we commonly associate the OG White/Teal/Orange/Black colorway to Dan Marino, long considered one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game. Arriving in 2012 is the Nike Air Speed Turf Max in the OG Dolphins colorway and the OG Black/White colorway (but with a silver Max Air unit – the original was neon green). Also dropping alongside those two originals is a Navy/White colorway and a Grey/Green color-up. The Air Speed Turf Max has been one of most high-demand Retro releases for a while, but will that translate to box-office success, given the moderate success of recent Trainer Retros? Check out all four below and let us know what you think.
