Generally speaking, a sneaker has to age quite a bite before the designers take it back to the drawing board for updates. Such is not the case with the Nike Lunar Edge 12, a trainer that debuted this summer and is already being re-released with some weather-conscious augmentations. The mesh upper from the previous iteration has been replaced with reinforced textile, a necessary measure against the lower temperatures that are ahead. The lateral support system on the sneaker has been beefed up a bit as well, although the sleek silhouette is intact.
