Owing to the fact that Nike is associated with a legacy of athletic performance beyond what any one else can match, the Swoosh is more often copied by other footwear companies than any other brand. And while much of the Swoosh’s recent success can be credited to collaborations with third party designers, have we ever seen Nike Sportswear lean so far toward one of its competitors? The uniform experiment x Nike Air Zoom Tennis Classic certainly does seem more like the Puma Clyde than ever before thanks to a quartet of nappy-uppered releases that also happen to feature some of the fattest laces we’ve seen from Nike, Inc.
