Foot Locker, the biggest retail footwear chain in the world, teamed up with Complex to introduce ‘Kicksmas’, an unofficial holiday of sneaker-giving that truly runs 365 days a year. The event was held at Cabanas in the Chelsea district in New York City, where the lounge/restaurant was decorated with displays showcasing the biggest sneaker releases of the Holiday 2011 season – notably the ‘Black Pack’. Live music was provided by New York’s own DJ Clark Kent, and select attendees were entered into a raffle prize, with the winner receiving the entire Black Pack! Check out a quick video and pictorial recap of Monday night’s events and let us know what sneaker release you’re looking forward to the most, and let your Twitter followers know what you want for Kicksmas by using the #Kicksmas keyword!
