Jordan Brand Holiday 2011 Flight Forum Wade Fly Over 17

Dwyane Wade may be an NBA star of the 21st Century, but he sure has that 90’s superstar mentality about him. His game relies on speed, toughness, and attacking the rim, with his secret weapon being the off-the-glass bank shot. Truth is, there’s a lot of Michael Jordan inside of Dwyane Wade’s game, and while crowning the ‘next Michael Jordan’ is somewhat of a thing of the past (because there will never be another Michael), Wade has displayed the best possible pitch for earning that title. The Jordan Fly Wade 2, which will debut this December 7th, carries that 90’s style, but with new age technology. Supportiing the Wade 2 is a Hyperfuse upper, a Lunar outsole, and a midfoot shank plate that extends three-quarters of the entire shoe and actually curls up the heel for added protection. Non-Air Jordan designs will forever be the object of scrutiny, but on a technical standpoint, the Fly Wade 2 is undoubtedly one of the most advanced that Jordan Brand has ever devised.
