For what it’s lacked in frequency over the past year or so, the Nike Air Flytop has more than made up in sheer quality. We saw a black pair that looked lovely in a tonal black mix of suede and smooth leather, a Dark Grey suede-only edition with a series-first translucent outsole, and most recently a reprisal of the black edition’s material distribution, redone in Iguana. This new Shale pair is equally earthy in its own right, but opts for nubuck instead of leather for a super-soft looking design that uses just a bit of white and off-white to break up the distance between the upper and a gum rubber outsole. Nike Sportswear nails yet another casual design just in time for holiday shopping, and you’ll find them available at select retailers like Titolo.
