Vans has the classic skate-rat style in a chokehold, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t allowed to branch out a bit with some spruced up designs. Their range of sneakers for December 2011 certainly has a few for that category, with some interesting upgrades to some key looks in their catalog. The Vans Chukka Boot 69 and the Vans Era 59 both show up here with warm wool uppers and waxed black laces that result in a very smart lifestyle look. After that it’s the crazy Vans Chukka Peacoat, which lives up to its name with the button down look on the sides of the shoe. Add to that the Chukka Del Barco, 106 Moc, and the surf oriented Vans Rata Vulc and you’ve got quite a few options to choose from.
