We’ve seen a few different applications of iridescent patent leather on Nike Air Force 1 Bespokes, but this newest revelation pushes the envelope a bit further by adding accents in the range of colors eminating from its glossy surfaces. This ‘Soul x Soul’ AF1 Bespoke gives off the kind of metallic sublimated shades that you might expect to see on the surface of a pool of antifreeze, though they’re more akin in quality to the lining of a pearl-laden oyster. The more you look deeply inside, the more depth you’ll find, and purple and neon accent hits help to emphasize the blacklit look, while reflective 3M side panels go in the opposite direction if the lighting conditions are just right. Click through and you’ll be able to see a bunch of up-close images, including a look at how crocodile leather made its way into the mix and what mismatched insoles look like when they have no direct connection to the rest of the shoe’s design. Let us know if they’re among the best Bespokes we’ve seen so far on Sneaker News and contact 21 Mercer in New York to design your own. via Carter-15
