Earlier today Sneaker News showed you two brand new colorways of the Nike LeBron 9 – a Dark Grey/Neon Green colorway dubbed the ‘Dunkman’ and the metallic blue/red designated the ‘All-Star’. However, it’s been confirmed by Jason Petrie himself that the ‘All-Star’ isn’t what it seems, and a look at the heel-badge only confirms that notion. It features the same ‘Dunkman’ logo, but with a curious halo, making an obvious reference to the Nike Air Griffey line. LeBron’s been spotted wearing Griffeys from time to time, so perhaps this new release is his way of adding Ken Griffey Jr. to the exclusive list of ‘Heroes’ that was revealed in the Air Max LeBron VII. Another rumor that’s been floating around is that both Dunkman colorways are intended to be released as a Pack, but more information regarding the release will be reported once it develops. We’ve got additional angles for you below, so take a look and let us know what you think of this Dunkman/Griffey concept. via randomactsofcool.
