The Nike Air Max+ 2012‘s Hyperfuse construction allows for unprecedented blending as in the case of the bold red/Volt pair or that cotton candy-looking WMNS drop we previewed a couple weeks back, or you can go in a different direction and make everything opaque while still emphasizing the shoe’s layered build. This new Air Max 2012 comes through with two tones of grey serving as the backdrop for a mango orange top layer that finds its exuberant shade reflected on the full-length Max Air cushion. As with the aforementioned translucent designs, this new mango AM2012 sets the bar for the more traditionally colorblocked end of the spectrum, which means all that’s left is for a pair or two to offer some full transparency. Would you want clear running shoes, or did Nike get it right with an opaque range to compliment the blended pairs?
