Vans was on the leading edge of sneaker companies incorporating boat shoe design cues into their new and hybrid models, yet it took qutie a while for their most popular hightops to get on board. But following the success of this fall’s Sk8-Hi Boat drops from Vans Vault, a trio of new pairs will be ready come the turn of the year. These three Vans California Sk8-Hi Boats don’t bear Taka Hayashi’s name despite the fact that he concocted this particular mashup, but the connection is there with the quality of suedes and canvases in use apparent to the eye in these preview images. Navy blue, off-white and black designs are ready to put a premium spin on your everyday sneaker rotation, and you’ll see more images of each pair after clicking on the jump below. via Sneakers.FR
