The adidas Originals Rod Laver Vintage Lux brings three new pairs together with the same basic construction: premium canvas uppers accented by tonal brushed suede toes, tongues and heel tabs, all riding a white sole and with a golden top eyelet thrown in for good measure. This formula works perfectly on black and navy pairs that add white contrast stitching, though the look of a brown design with a more muted approach to its lines suggests they could have done just as well with tonal embroidery.
