Nike’s various divisions have at their disposal a variety of old school colors like Varsity Red or Royal, golden era standouts like Infrared and Aquatone and modern classics like Retro and Green Abyss. It remains to be seen if the Blue Thunder shade debuting on this upcoming Nike Cortez release will leave the kind of legacy those legends created, but there’s no better silo for it to debut upon, even with the original Nike runner now available for iD customization.
