It appears that the folks on campus out in Beaverton were so eager about the retro Griffey revival that they were keen on spreading the love around to non-baseball sigs as well. In what comes off as a little bit of a ‘peanut butter in my chocolate moment’, this new Nike LeBron 9 is poised to arrive with some very tangible influences from the Ken Griffey Jr. line. Beyond the bluish hues on the upper, LeBron’s own logo even gets replaced with the ‘Swingman’ on the back.
