The ‘Olympic’ designation within the Air Jordan repertoire isn’t always a clear one. Just take a look at the Air Jordan ‘Olympic Pack 2012’ and compare them to this colorway of the Jordan Son of Mars and you’ll realize how little overlap there is. Of course in this specific instance the moniker is derived from application of the colors from the 5 Olympic Rings, a range whose tones pop up on the various accents of this new hybrid for 2012. The result is something pretty reminiscent of the recent ‘Bordeaux’ Spiz’ike, with the Frankenstein design standing out even more thanks to the less than subtle colorblocking.
