We were all aware of what LeBron James was capable above the rim, but it was an iconic image of a dunk during his rookie season that bred the ‘Dunkman’ icon – a sick one-handed slamma-jamma that sent a ripple effect miles outside of the arena. The Dunkman adopted the Black/Grey/Neon Green color-scheme and has become one of the most anticipated installments of each new LeBron signature, and ever since LeBron himself rocked them last month (calling them ‘Swag 9’s’), the hype has grown fiercely. You may be wondering why this new set of images look somewhat unfamiliar to you – that’s because the swoosh here is pictured black opposed to the reflective silver seen in other viewings. In addition, recent images of a toddler-sized Dunkman should be enough of a hint that these won’t be painfully limited as well.
