Michael Jordan wanted to sign with adidas out of college, but we all know how that story ended. Three Stripes was sure avoid a similar mistake when they snatched up one-and-done star Derrick Rose, a decision that resulted in adidas Basketball even surpassing Nike/Jordan Brand with the youngest NBA MVP in history. So even though MJ practically owns red, white and black, adidas maintains a strong presence in the Windy City. This new adidas Originals AR 2.0 ‘Chicago’ is done up in what you might consider a ‘Playoff Home’ colorway, its patent leather mudguard no doubt inspired by that legendary 1995-96 season and the unmistakable Air Jordan XI for which it’ll be forever remembered. Arriving alongside a premium Letterman Jacket and an updated Ultra Star Track Jacket, the ‘Chicago’ adiRise 2.0 is available now at Footlocker.
