Proving the All-Star brand’s pedigree beyond the foundations of lifestyle silhouettes covered by the Chuck Taylor side of things is the Converse Auckland Racer. The retro runner is coming back out of the woodwork with an updated silhouette, featuring mesh and nylon additions along with a lighter outsole to make its reentry that much more functional. With the Converse Star Play EV also recently taking on the mesh upgrade, is this a theme we will see progress throughout the year or more of a flash-in-the-pan thing for a couple key silhouettes?
