The Athens Games were only one of two times since 1980 that the US didn’t walk away with Gold, an unfortunate bit of timing that stands in stark contrast to the above pictured model that’s still considered one of the best built basketball sneakers ever, some eight years after its debut. The Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4 will return with a patriotic colorup later in the year, but simple new colorways like this Wolf Grey and Tide Pool combo will be arriving at retailers before the red, white and blue joints.
