The recently-wrapped St. Patrick’s Day has its roots across the Atlantic Ocean, and though this new adidas Originals Superstar 80s‘ timing and green/orange/white color scheme suggests an Irish theme, the color code suggests inspiration from the world’s largest body of water. This Miami Dolphins-leaning Shelltoe adds Half Orange stripes to its Big Sur suede body, a color named for the notoriously beautiful coastal California town whose cliffs provide a breathtaking view of the Pacific you’ve probably seen in car commercials. The premium construction and German origin on these equates roughly to a top-tier Volkswagen, but you can grab these ‘Big Sur’ Superstar 80s at a much more affordable price from Sweden’s SNS.
