The Nike Dunk High’s classic lines make it a favorite for custom sneaker designs, this latest edition hearkening back to some of the pairs that stood out the most over this past decade. Swaves‘ ‘Birds on a Wire’ Dunk High custom reminds us of classic Nike SB releases with a simple graphic hit on the rear panel, in this case a black-on-grey take of exactly what this shoe’s nickname would imply. The context makes them closer to Jeff Staple’s legendary ‘Pigeon’ than a mediocre Mel Gibson film, and the simple Raiders-leaning colorup gives these a timeless quality that spans basically the Dunk’s entire lifespan. Let us know how they compare to the more elaborate custom Dunks we’ve seen here on Sneaker News and click through to see some more images. via Paint or Thread
