Back before Ronnie Fieg and Asics were like peanut butter and jam, RF was working at New York’s David Z, where he curated quite a few Asics Gel Lyte III collaborations. After the last of those in 2009, Fieg set out on his own and has become synonymous with ‘dipped’ suede classic runners since then, leveraging the acclaim that comes with each new drop into a retail presence that’s already established two New York boutiques. And speaking of Kith, they just got a restock of a Gel Lyte III ‘Blueberries’ from back in the summer of 2009, a time ‘so long’ ago that we hadn’t even seen so much as a ‘Salmon Toe’ sample or any inkling that Ronnie would head out on his own. Check them out after the jump below, let us know how this relatively busier design compares to RF’s own simpler styles and look for yours at Kith.
