Reebok hit a home run with the eye-catching comfort of their ZigTech line, and given that they once took Nike to court claiming to have been working on barefoot-mimicking soles even longer than the Swoosh, it’s natural that the Zigs’ success will beget further technological innovation. The Reebok RealFlex Racer features 76 independent pods on its soles for a ride that safely emulates running au natural and the RealFlex Mid puts a hiking boot twist on the design but ends up closer to a John Wall basketball model thanks to a lightweight synthetic upper.
