The Air Max 95 pushed the limits of what we’d come to expect from Nike’s signature cushioning platform, expanding its visible action from the heel where it’d been sequestered since 1987, all the way up to the toe for the first time. Fitting, then, as we see it come through in a couple new updates this season, that one of those would demonstrate the progress in Beaverton since we first saw Nike Air under our toes. The Nike Air Max 95+ BB adds the uncaged full-length Max Air unit that’s been running the flagship series since ’09, this white/grey-uppered pair nearing black on the soles so as to fit in perfectly with early 2012’s greyscale trend.
