New Balance knocked a couple out the park with last year’s ‘Tall Tales Pack’ and its ‘Paul Bunyan’ and ‘Babe the Blue Ox’ colorways, so it was only natural to revisit (North) American folklore with a few more classic suede and mesh runners in 2012. Following up on the Johnny Appleseed version is this John Henry-inspired New Balance M574JH, a charcoal, silver and mauve ‘Made in USA’ design that looks like they were forged from the same steel their muse was known for driving.
