Ray Allen is so famous for his work ethic that motivational speakers make note of the fact that he still arrives at the arena three hours before every game, even sixteen years into his Hall of Fame career. It’s that kind of consistency that’s sharpened the sweetest jumper in the game and established ‘Sugar Ray’ as the NBA’s three-point king and arguably its greatest shooter of all-time. Ray and the Celtics are once again surprising people as they move forward in the Eastern Conference Playoffs, but it’s not like Ray hasn’t been here before, doing this exact same thing. Celtics team photographer Brian Babineau showed off Allen’s prep work in ‘The Routine’, a video in which you’ll see a few of Ray’s Air Jordan PEs in all their glory as he shoots in an empty TD Garden, all after the jump below.
