Each year around the time school lets out and the NBA wraps up its postseason tournament, sneakerheads can’t help but remember that this was the season when Michael Jordan cemented his untouchable legacy. Each of the full campaigns Mike played in the ’90s resulted in a championship ring, and with his Chicago Bulls teammates united in matching MJ’s black sneakers, the pair pictured above reminds us that one of His Airness’ greatest strengths was raising the game of role players sometimes known as his ‘Jordanaires’.
