Eric Koston’s Nike SB signature sneaker just arrived at retailers last month with a white upper and gum bottom, so while simply swapping to black would make for an equally satisfying design, the Swoosh would rather provide a bit more variety. So instead of this just coming off as the yang to that pair’s yin, this new Nike Zoom Koston 1 subtracts the ‘SB’ branding but adds details like a granite finish Swoosh and speckled outsole toe for a finished product that’s as close to ‘black cement’ as you can get without including Elephant print.
