New Balance are the unquestioned kings of grey suede classic runners, but for their latest release, your favorite US/UK brand applied their no-nonsense formula to a trail boot. The end result is equally satisfying as the New Balance ML875GR skips the ‘& mesh’ part of the golden era running equation and simply dipped the whole thing in supple suede. The speckled rear midsole is vital here to add a bit of depth to an otherwise ‘blank’ design, perhaps in tribute to the original 580 (which later gave birth to the beloved MT580) from which the tooling was borrowed. Check out the all-grey form in greater detail below, and be ready for these now that they’re arriving at Japanese retailers like Bingo Works.
