Vans Lxvi Inscribe

Given how quickly DC Shoes jumped on board following the success of Supra’s Owen runner, it was a reasonable guess to think that the Vans LXVI could either be a collection or just a single model in that same running/training vein.  And while these new Off the Wall designs do indeed rely upon some of that same cutting edge tech, Vans was waiting for their pitch to hit with this new capsule.  Accordingly, the Vans LXVI Inscribe isn’t a get-ready or chill-after shoe; the Inscribe and the entire LXVI capsule are modernized takes on familiar Vans aesthetics.  The Vans Inscribe is probably the most adventurous design of the entire set, finding its closest comparisons in other brands where models like the Nike Air Max 1 or Air Jordan XI made so much out of their prominent mudguards.  This feature adds quite a bit to the otherwise Old Skool-leaning derby design and only hints at the kind of technical benefits shared in common with the rest of its peers.  Check these out below in greater detail, let us know how they compare to Vans’ classics and find yours at select retailers like Vans today.
