Nike Sportswear is pulling out all the stops for this year’s Air Safari retro, outfitting the ’87 all star with just about every possible deviation available in their catalog. Lunar, VNTG, and NIKE iD are all out there already, joined now by the Nike Air Safari Deconstruct, a stripped down approach that has found a home on other hallmarks like the Nike Air Force 1 and Nike Dunk High recently. The Swoosh is bumped down to a mere peforation and even the color scheme reflects the deconstructed notion, a stoic black and white that allows only for a bit of brown around the edges.
