The Vans Authentic is already one of the slimmer sneakers out there, a pair passed down from a time of much simpler design that wasn’t privy to all the bells and whistles of the modern era. With that being said it apparently still isn’t quite slim enough for some folks, with Vans retooling the iconic silhouette and coming up with the Vans Authentic Lite to shave some percentage points off weight wise. The moniker is interrupted appropriately by the Pop designation here as well, speaking to the crazy colors utilized (‘surf the web’ and neon orange if you’re wondering).
