Alright we know you’re not excited for the summer to be over, but on the plus side the NBA will edge that much closer to reconvening once summer expires, with the first game set to take place on October 30th. For shadowing the season is the NBA Rookie Media Day 2012 photo shoot, wherein the group of newbies was corralled for some shots while being decked out in their new team gear and of course some exciting sneaker selections. The wears were a bit territorial, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist’s new home with the Charlotte Bobcats apparently already affecting his sneaker selection and Marquis Teague slipping on some adidas that would make D-Rose proud. Beyond that it was Anthony Davis in the Nike LeBron 9 ‘Summit Lake Hornets’ (close enough), Quincy Acy in the Air Jordan V ‘Metallic’, Meyers Leonard in a limited Nike Zoom KDIV colorway, and much more.
