Looking back at the Jordan Bin 23 Collection that’s been set aside for the moment, it was the Air Jordan IX that was the introductory release to Jumpman’s high-end Air Jordan Retro capsule, but it’s clear that Nike/Jordan had these ‘premium’ plans with the Air Jordan IX all along. We’re alluding to the Air Jordan IX ‘Olive’ of course, which released back in 1994 as one of the truest lifestyle colorways to date, and although consumers weren’t quite open to the concept in ’94 or even in ’02 when the shoe re-released, things will change once these hit stores on the weekend before Black Friday 2012.
